HR Generalist
Charleroi, PA

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR related duties on a professional level and working closely with management in supporting assigned locations and tasks. 

This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: 

  • benefits administration
  • onboarding/exits
  • recruiting coordination
  • policy implementation
  • recordkeeping and employment law compliance.

This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization while being sensitive to finding a balance of employee goodwill and meeting the needs of the business.

Requirements of the HR Generalist

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 1-3 years of progressive career growth as an HR Generalist
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Understanding of local, state and federal employment laws and compliance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with ability to move projects forward while balancing day to day duties.
  • Proficient active listening and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organization, multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Customer focused attitude with high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficient in MS Office Word and Excel. 
  • ADP experience a plus.
