We have an opening with our client in Gibsonia, PA for a Help Desk Technician.

Overview of Duties

  • Provides ongoing hardware and software support for all technologies
  • Addresses help desk tickets efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoots and resolves technology failures, documenting required changes
  • Responsible for managing multiple priorities including tickets, projects and other
    assigned tasks
  • Applies desktop updates, and configuration modifications to both PC’s and Mac’s
  • Support mobile devices, including Android and IOS
  • Architects, create, deploy and maintain standard workstation images for desktops and laptops.
  • Architects and implements patch distribution management (desktop)
  • Ensures workstation operating system has the latest security updates, service packs, and manages BIOS & driver maintenance
  • Remains on-call during off-peak hours to respond to support service issues
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field OR 5 years of experience working in IT support, customer service and personal management and OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory
  • Experience working with PC's, Mac's, desktop, laptop and mobile devices
  • Knowledge of networks, printers and peripherals
  • Ability to manage multiple high priority initiatives in a fast paced highly technical environment
  • Ability to clearly communicate and explain complex information to end users
