Pay Rate:  $18-22/hr

Opening in Madison, WI with our manufacturing client for an IT Technical Support Specialist.

Essential Functions

  • Provides first level technical support for hardware and software issues for onsite office/warehouse and remote users.
  • This would include, but is not limited to:
    • desktop client operating systems
    • desktop applications
    • ERP support
    • desktop/laptop/tablet/terminal hardware
    • printers, copiers, desk/mobile phones
    • other supported wireless devices and peripherals
  • Performs basic IBM iSeries system operator related tasks
  • Responsible for the setup of employees office space equipment and required network user access.
  • Provides support to the network administrator.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a help desk technician 
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
