We have a short term contract opening for a Purchasing Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and clerical as well as computer skills.
Responsibilities of the Purchasing Assistant will include:
Create purchase orders from purchase requisitions
Expedite urgent and past due purchase orders.
Resolve purchase order discrepancies with accounts payable
Create DMR (Defective Material Requests).
Create orders for restocking of general office supplies
