Desktop Support Specialist / Technical Support
Pittsburgh, PA

Part-Time (20 Hrs/Wk)
Pay Rate: 
14-17/hr


Responsibilities

  • Provide desk side support to users and resolve desktop issues
  • Set up and administer new user computer hardware, software and networks
  • Ensure desktop security is maintained
  • Patch panels, switches, routers, CPN access and troubleshoot network issues
  • Update users and provide visibility to team and management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in related area
  • 2-4 years of experience with Windows desktop support 
  • 2+ years of hardware/software troubleshooting experience
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting and managing Servers
  • Understanding and knowledge of Microsoft Office products, operating systems and software applications
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
