Patient Care Coordinator / Health Care Customer Service Support
Pittsburgh, PA (Moon Township Area)


Pay Rate:  $15-20/hr

Shift Hours:   10:30 am - 7 pm    or     11 am - 7:30 pm

The Patient Care Coordinators will interact with patients over the phone to coordinate prescription refill(s), update billing information, and address patient concerns.

Patient Care Coordinators will also redirect calls to pharmacists as needed, communicate with healthcare providers in a confidential manner, while adhering to applicable healthcare regulations.  


  • Communicate with patients via phone to establish rapport, ensure clinical compliance, and establish next shipment of medication
  • Communicate with order management and fulfillment team to engage compliance, and to address concerns as noted during patient communication
  • Accept direction from pharmacist(s) and leadership regarding various elements of specialty call compliance programs
  • Additional projects and activities as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years customer service experience in a call center environment
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to work 10 or 10:30 am to 7 or 7:30 pm

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a specialty pharmacy call center environment (understanding of medical terminology is a plus)
