Help Desk / Technical Support Specialist
Pay Rate: 13/hr
The Help Desk Specialist will answer phone calls and provide basic troubleshooting of software and hardware issues to internal and external users.
This role involves phone support as well as hands-on troubleshooting support as required.
The ideal Help Desk Analyst candidate will have solid technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. They must be customer-oriented and client-focused to deal with varying support-related issues.
- Associate Degree in information science or
- Minimum 1 year experience with various software applications;
- Ability to install and configure systems and application software for Windows and Mac OS operating systems
- Client-facing skills; Background in technology-related customer service preferred.
- Must have strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a team environment,
- Ability to learn new technical skills quickly
- Ability to travel between local facilities as required
