Technical Support Specialist
Eagan, MN

In this role, the Technical Support Specialist will work directly with customers and external contacts to manage domains, DNS, and HTTPS services.

Responsibilities 
  • Provide expert technical advice, solve problems, and deliver excellent daily service on the phone and via email 
  • Domain and DNS administration, including repoints, redirects, and domain ownership transfers 
  • HTTPS domain validation, certificate issuance and renewal, and service deployment 
  • Explanation of complex, technical concepts to non-technical audiences 
  • Troubleshooting of technical and non-technical issues for customers 
  • Providing superior customer service and building great relationships with customers and internal partners 
  • Management of multiple, simultaneous projects 
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of experience in a position involving extensive direct contact with customers and/or technical contacts 
  • 2+ years of experience working with web-based products and services 
  • Familiar with content delivery networks (CDN) and registrar control panels 
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Time and priority management skills
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts is a plus
