Direct hire opening in Indiana, PA area with our manufacturing client for an Accountant.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate month and year-end accounting closing
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial schedules and management reports.
- Reporting actual results, and monitor performance against budget, forecast, and strategic goals.
- Champion the monthly reporting process at the plant level.
- Design strategies to meet company reporting requirements
- Assist with month end KPIs report preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis with management.
- Responsible for budgeting and forecast processes including scheduling, providing worksheets/templates for controller and managers in compilation and review.
- Lead budget process to include business unit reviews, corporate templates, and system loading and reporting.
- Coordinate quarterly and year-end audits.Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing or public accounting environment.
- Knowledge of GAAP

Accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with strong customer orientation
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel including financial models: Microsoft Access knowledge preferred
- MBA, CPA, or CMA Designation
- Public Accounting experience auditing manufacturing
- Knowledge of ERP systems
