Direct hire opportunity with our legal client for an Application Deployment Manager.
In this role you will lead a team of engineers focused on maintaining the desktop computing environment and ownership of a subset of company-wide applications.Â

In this role you will lead a team of engineers focused on maintaining the desktop computing environment and ownership of a subset of company-wide applications.Â
Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day deployment activities of a team of engineers ensuring successful completion of deployments
- Set performance objectives for team members; develop and deliver performance assessments against these objectives.
- Provision and maintain physical and virtual desktops and applications.
- Manage a fleet of more than 3500 PC’s and Macs in a global environment.
- Install, configure, and deploy new applications, system software, products, and/or enhancements to existing applicationsÂ
- Monitor desktop performance metrics
- Draft and submit budget recommendations.
- Participate in the On-Call support rotation of the Applications Team.Â
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Technical, business and/or project management certifications a plus
- 6+ years work experience as an application and/or desktop engineerÂ
- 4+ years’ experience with SCCM and/or Intune or similar technologyÂ
- 4+ years’ experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and 11
- Microsoft 365 Office deployment and management experience
- Active Directory and Group Policy knowledgeÂ
- Strong critical thinking capabilities, effective oral and written communication skills
- Independent, self-managed and results-focused
- Strong in decision making and problem solving
