As a Workday Application Developer, you will work and provide technical guidance to a team of junior and intermediate developers as they deliver a new generation of global, custom software solutions to the PPG Automotive Refinish business
Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and test programming code
- Establish and refine system architectures and promote proper software coding practices across the development group
- Provide technical expertise, helping lead a project team in the analysis, design, development and implementation of business solutions
- Provide technical leadership to development group and lead efforts to promote and use technology,
- Assess goals for assigned project phases and recommend and implement technical strategies to achieve business and project goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
- 7+ years application developer experience including Angular web development
- 7 years of hands-on Workday business process, system configuration, and implementation experience
- Experience with Custom Reports, Calculated fields, EIB's, Document transformation, Workday Studio Web Services PICOF's
- Experience mentoring and directing others
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of the Agile development methodology
- .NET Framework (C#)
- SQL Server
