Job Description
Entry level Civil Engineer opening for a role focused on land development and earth work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of site plans, grading plans, and utility plans
- Conduct site visits and field investigations to gather data and information
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create and modify technical drawings and plans
- Perform calculations and analysis to ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
- Work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and other team members to ensure project success
- Attend meetings and provide updates on project progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Entry level experience (with internship) to 1 to 2 years of practical civil engineering experience
- Strong understanding of land development principles and techniques
- Permitted experience
- Experience with CAD software and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
