Job Description

Direct hire opportunity in Pittsburgh, PA for a Civil Engineering Site Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering and technical leadership in the preparation of studies, reports, plans, specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Interpret plans, sketches, and specifications.
  • Respond to common technical inquiries, questions from the client, or members of the project team and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Perform specific work assignments in accordance with established and modified progress schedules and within prescribed budgets.
  • Manager projects of varying size and perform all design tasks, or guide staff engineers and designers in completing design tasks as required

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and at least 10 years’ civil engineer work experience. 
  • PE in Pennsylvania required.
  • Experience in site design, bidding, permitting and construction phase services for development projects
  • Flexibility to work on multiple projects and react to changing client expectations.
  • excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • great organizational skills and time management abilities.
