Oxford Solutions currently has a contract opening for a Corrosion Engineer.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing corrosion control measures, conducting inspections, analyzing data, and providing technical expertise for pipeline projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing corrosion control measures, conducting inspections, analyzing data, and providing technical expertise for pipeline projects.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Develop and implement corrosion control strategies to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of equipment and structures to identify corrosion-related issues.
- Perform corrosion testing and analysis to assess materials' susceptibility to degradation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend appropriate materials selection, coatings, and cathodic protection systems.
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and mitigation plans based on corrosion evaluations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in corrosion mitigation technologies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance and engineering teams.
- Participate in root cause failure analysis investigations related to corrosion-related incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Materials Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corrosion Engineer or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of corrosion mechanisms, prevention methods, and mitigation techniques.
- Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and regulations related to corrosion management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret corrosion data.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficient in using corrosion modeling software and analysis tools.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional certifications related to corrosion engineering are a plus.
