Job Description
Hybrid work schedule in Pittsburgh, PA. Direct hire opening for a Cyber Security Analyst. Looking for someone with 5+ years of cyber security experience.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause
- Serve as a subject matter expert in incident response practices, including the design of incident management and response policy and procedures, and execution of the incident response program
- Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities
- Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard
- Stay current on Information Technology (IT) security trends and news
- Develop company-wide best practices for IT security
- Perform penetration testing
Requirements
- Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 5+ years of proven work experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role
- Cybersecurity Certifications a plus
- Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques
- Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus and IDPS concepts
- Knowledge of standard protocols (HTTP, FTP, DNS, SSL ...)
- Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
