Hybrid work schedule in Pittsburgh, PA (3 days/week in office). Direct hire opportunity for a Cyber Security Architect.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintains a security architecture process that enables the enterprise to implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology, and threat drivers
• Develop security strategy plans, roadmaps, and security architecture artifacts based on sound enterprise architecture practices
• Determine baseline security configuration standards for operating systems (e.g., OS hardening), network segmentation, and identity and access management (IAM)
• Develop standards and practices for data encryption multifactor authorization and tokenization in the organization, based on the organization's data classification criteria
• Track developments and changes in the digital business and threat environments to ensure that they're adequately addressed in security strategy plans and architecture artifacts
• Validate security configurations and access to security infrastructure tools, including firewalls, IPSs, WAFs and anti-malware/endpoint protection systems
• Ensure a complete, accurate and valid inventory of all systems, infrastructure and applications that should be logged by the security information and event management (SIEM) or log management tool

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Cybersecurity
• 4+ years of cyber security experience.
• Demonstrated experience in and exposure to cyber security risk and mitigation strategies, technologies, programs, and operations.
• Security related Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, TOGAF preferred
• Experience with NIST 800-171/CMMC experience preferred
• Ability to objectively view and assess cyber security alternatives
• Interpersonal skills to manage often difficult or highly technical conditions
• Ability to create and think through complex technical problems and identify/resolve gaps
• Organizational skills and discipline to build and maintain structured plans
