Distribution Operations Manager

Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Area Distribution Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our distribution operations.
As the Distribution Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing daily distribution center activities, ensuring efficient order processing, inventory management, and on-time shipments.
- Mentoring and supervising a diverse distribution team to ensure high performance and motivation.
- Implementing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste.
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess distribution center performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to align distribution strategies with business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred
- 5+ years of operations experience, including 2 years of supervisory experience in distribution or warehousing;
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
