Our client is currently seeking a skilled Drafter to join their team, where you will play a crucial role in creating mechanical and electrical drawings of low and medium complexity using a 3D CAD system and associated Bill of Materials (BOM).

In this role you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed mechanical and electrical drawings while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support projects. 

Responsibilities:

• Create mechanical and electrical drawings of low and medium complexity using a 3D CAD system, ensuring precision and adherence to design specifications.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) using ERP system to support manufacturing processes and procurement activities.
• Work closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to clarify design requirements and make necessary revisions to drawings.
• Review and verify the accuracy of drawings, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies or errors.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of drawings and associated documentation.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance drafting efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Drafting preferred or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of drafting experience, with a focus on mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor or a similar 3D CAD system.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and experience in creating Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adept at managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
• Able to lift and carry up to 25lbs
