Drafting Project Manager

Job Description
Direct hire opening with our client for a Drafting Project Manager.
Looking for someone with 3 to 5 years of architectural construction drafting experience along with 1 to 3 year of project management experience.

Essential Duties
- Review shop drawings and submittal packages for accuracy
- Assist in execution of contractor bid process.
- Manages project costs for materials and labor.
- Manage and monitor approved projects.
- Assist in weekly tasks and job meetings during capital projects.
- Assist in the timely preparation and execution of product to construction site.
- Assist with project closeoutÂ
- Maintains communication with contractors and vendors
- Assist in the inspection of capital projects for compliance with specifications and quality control
- Attend meetings, conferences, and/or seminarsÂ
Qualifications and Experience
- AutoCAD technical degree or equivalent level of experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience producing shop drawings for architectural construction products
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in project management
- Experience reading construction project specifications and drawings
- Knowledge of the construction industry and building codes
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills; both internal and external
