Electrical Automation Project Manager

Job Description
Direct hire opening with our engineering client for an Electrical Engineering Automation Project Manager.
Essential Functions
- Develop proposals and cost estimates for automated systems for new and existing clients
- Oversee all phases of projects including budget, costs, labor and material resources as well as implementation
- Maintain project schedules and ensure project deliverables are met by all members of the project team
- Apply engineering principles and practices, and function in a lead engineering role for segments of projects including preparation of required design plans, specifications, and reports
- Provide onsite engineering support, including regular site visits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering or related area
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an engineering project management or similar role
- PEÂ license preferred
- Experience managing project cost/budget, scope, schedule, and resources, overseeing formal planning, tracking, and reporting project performance
- Applicable knowledge of the UL 508a Code and NEMA Standards preferred
- Knowledge of 480VAC, 240VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC circuitry preferred
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management and problem solving skills
