In this Electrical Drafter role, you will play a critical role in transforming electrical design concepts into accurate and comprehensive technical drawings and documentation.

In this Electrical Drafter role, you will play a critical role in transforming electrical design concepts into accurate and comprehensive technical drawings and documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Create precise and clear electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to accurately depict electrical systems, circuits, wiring layouts, and equipment specifications.
- Assist electrical engineers in developing electrical designs, conceptualizing layouts, and selecting appropriate components, considering factors like load requirements, voltage specifications, safety standards, and energy efficiency.
- Generate and maintain detailed documentation for electrical projects, including bill of materials (BOMs), parts lists, technical specifications, and wiring documentation to ensure accurate project tracking and future reference.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to electrical drawings and provide practical solutions to ensure the successful implementation of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, electrical codes, and regulatory requirements in the creation of electrical drawings and documentation.
- Associate's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), or a related field
- Proven experience as an Electrical Drafter or a related role in the electrical engineering field.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Electrical drafting software
- Strong understanding of electrical principles, symbols, and components commonly used in electrical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in creating technical drawings and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Adaptability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
