Electrical Engineer

Job Description
As an Electrical Power System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and optimization of electrical power systems to ensure their reliable and efficient operation.
Essential Duties
- Conduct comprehensive power system studies, including load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, transient stability analysis, and harmonic analysis, to assess the performance and reliability of electrical networks.
- Develop detailed electrical power system designs and layouts, considering factors like power generation capacity, voltage levels, transmission distances, and equipment specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize power system planning and expansion projects.
- Recommend appropriate electrical equipment, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and protective relays, based on project requirements and standards.
- Ensure all power system designs and projects comply with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on power systems.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in power systems analysis, design, and implementation.
- EI or EIT Certification required
- In-depth knowledge of power system theory, electrical components, and equipment commonly used in power systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
