Job Description
Direct hire opening with our client for an Electrical Engineer.
This role will focus on electrical design a circuits and control systems as well as maintaining the UL compliance program.

This role will focus on electrical design a circuits and control systems as well as maintaining the UL compliance program.
Responsibilities
- Electrical circuit design, controls, instrumentation, and panel layout
- Facilitate UL compliance testing
- Achieve product and engineering compliance by developing and executing compliance programs and completing documentation.
- Research and identify applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards and codes.
- Responsible for wire and conduit sizing along with the approval of new and substitute electrical components
- Track project time lines to complete tasks on schedule
- Ensure reliable operation of equipment
Requirements
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related area with a focus on electrical controls design
- 2 to 3 years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in compliance
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid UL manufacturer technical representative (MTR) certification in accordance with UL 508A requirements
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing.
