Electrical Engineer

Job Description
Direct hire opportunity with our client for an Electrical Engineer. This is a hands on role and you will be responsible for designing, maintaining and installation of industrial electrical systems. Â
Responsibilities
- Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products
- Develop manufacturing processes according to global engineering codes and standards
- Manage engineering projects and deliver them on time
- Define customer needs and requirements
- Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
- Develop and manage key vendor’s partnershipsÂ
- Provide plant field support for electrical troubleshooting, inspections, upgrades and retrofits
- Manage projects and installations
- Safety circuits design and interlock validation
- PLC logic editing, troubleshooting and VFD experience
- Summarize data and report on test results
Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Industrial electrical hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment
- Deep knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
- Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Self-driven with ability to drive for results with minimal management
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
