This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled developer with a passion for technology and a strong background in both front-end and back-end development.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers, UI/UX designers, and other developers to define project requirements and deliver high-quality web applications.
- Develop front-end components using modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Design and implement user-friendly interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience across various devices and browsers.
- Create and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems using server-side technologies like Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance the functionality of web applications.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to deploy applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) and implement continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies.
- Contribute to code reviews, share knowledge, and mentor junior developers within the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-8 years of professional experience in full stack web application development.
- Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
- Solid experience in backend development using server-side technologies like Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, etc.
- Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar.
- Extensive knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.
- Proven ability to develop responsive and cross-browser compatible user interfaces.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Active Top Secret (TS) or Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance is required (or ability to obtain).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward addressing technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
