Opening with our client for a Greenhouse Technician.
In this role you will support a seed quality control lab by performing standardized processes and quality control testing.

In this role you will support a seed quality control lab by performing standardized processes and quality control testing.
Essential Functions
- Perform standardized procedures for detection and quantification of bacteria, viruses, and fungi in vegetable seeds
- Apply aseptic technique and defined hygiene procedures to ensure quality and containment of plant pathogens
- Record and enter test results
- Recognize and report deviations from standard procedures
- Follow safety procedures
- Contribute to miscellaneous lab improvement projects
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor's in Science in Biology or related field preferred
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a Lab Technician preferred
- Hard working, motivated, independently driven, and willing to learn.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
- Solid communication skills
