Job Description
Opening with our telecommunications client for a Help Desk Analyst (Tier 1). Must be able to work onsite in Germantown, MD.
In this role you will serve as the first point of contact for all IT issues while providing superior customer service and timely resolution to all help desk ticketing requests. Looking for someone with a strong background with Active Directory and Microsoft account management administration.

In this role you will serve as the first point of contact for all IT issues while providing superior customer service and timely resolution to all help desk ticketing requests. Looking for someone with a strong background with Active Directory and Microsoft account management administration.
Responsibilities
- Answer queries by telephone, self-service tickets, or email in support of internal customer hardware and software, network, and system/application access.
- Setup and configure laptops and desktop computers
- Prioritize help desk tickets and escalate service tickets to engineers and technicians as needed
- Troubleshoot access to VPN and Microsoft Office 365 applications and related issues.
- Account Administration to include on-boarding and off-boarding.
- Microsoft Office365 license management.
- Update documentation of help desk processes and procedures and create reports as needed.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience supporting IT services and applications along with Active Directory and account management administration
- Windows 10 and 11 operating systems knowledge
- Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive, MS Teams and strong knowledge of Outlook client
- Basic knowledge of Network fundamentals (i.e. remote access VPN, TCP/IP and built-in utilities)
- SCCM experience
- Experience with help desk ticketing systems
- Excellent organization, communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- CompTIA A+ certification a plus
