Job Description
Oxford Solutions has an opening with our manufacturing client for a Help Desk Support Specialist.
In this role, you will support a variety of technical support tasks including setting up hardware, software and peripheral equipment for end users.

Overview of Responsibilities
- Serve as the first contact with customers who need technical assistance via the phone or email
- Perform troubleshooting using different diagnostic techniques
- Setup and deploy company computer hardware
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical hardware and/or software issues
- Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service
- Redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Provide needed information on IT products or services
- Keep record of problems and their resolution
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field preferred
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Server and Active Directory
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and customer facing skills
- Prior manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Ability to participate in rotating emergency on-call schedule
