Essential Duties
Manufacturing Development Engineer - 25987
Essential Duties
- Responsible for creating cycles of improvement throughout the organization by leading capital deployment, continuous improvement / cost-out projects, and other operations excellence initiatives.
- Evaluate, analyze and improve operations and engineering processes using fundamentally sound manufacturing principles to ensure excellence in safety, efficiency, productivity, cost reduction and quality.
- Initiate and lead improvement projects including manufacturing equipment, facility enhancements, production expansion, industrialization and other assigned projects.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experience
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (industrial or process engineering preferred)
- At least 1 year of manufacturing engineering, continuous improvement, manufacturing project management experience
- Facilities project management experience
- Maintenance program implementation and management
- Continuous improvement / lean program implementation and management
- Process improvement experience
- Excellent communications skills (presentations, report outs, deployments)
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
