Mechanical Engineer

Job Description
Direct hire opportunity with our client located in the Lewes, DE area for a Mechanical Engineer.
Essential Duties
- Design various HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire protection systems.
- Construction administration and field investigation tasks for projects
- Perform field inspections
- Develop system narratives, complete load calculations, equipment selection, and other related design tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with EIT or PE License
- 3-5 years of consulting engineering experience in designing HVAC, plumbing and fire systems for commercial, municipal, or industrial facilities
- AutoCAD and Carrier HAP load calculation software experience
- Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
