Job Description
Work remotely in U.S. West coast highly preferred. MUST be open to working on call after the initial training period / performing maintenance windows during the night as required.
Opening with our client for a Production Engineer.
In this Production Engineer role, you will perform testing, deploying, operating and monitoring of Guavus telecommunication solutions in their customer portfolio. You are also required to perform validations on operational status as well as data quality. You will also help the customer plan and execute deployments.

Opening with our client for a Production Engineer.
In this Production Engineer role, you will perform testing, deploying, operating and monitoring of Guavus telecommunication solutions in their customer portfolio. You are also required to perform validations on operational status as well as data quality. You will also help the customer plan and execute deployments.
Essential Functions
- Deploy solutions in test, pre-production and production environments
- Develop monitoring and alerting for solutions
- Continuously improve monitoring systems
- Automate tests for monitoring and configuration audits
- Respond to alerts and outages
- Work closely with a high value highly technical customer to assist them in troubleshooting and daily work
- Perform ATP and assist in bringing issues to engineering
Requirements:
- 6+ years experience as a production engineer
- Telecom experience a strong plus
- 4+ years network engineering experience
- 3+ years Kubernetes experience
- 2+ years Ansible automation experience
- OpenStack experience a strong plus
- Detail oriented, cautious but driven individual
- Excellent communication skills with highly dedicated customer service focus
