Contract opening (6 to 12 months) for a Project Engineer. IMMEDIATE NEED. Looking for an experience Project Engineer with chemical or mechanical engineering background and 5 to 8 years of experience.
Overview of Role
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Requirements and skills
- BS degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or relevant field
- 5 to 8 years of project engineering experience
- Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
- Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Project management skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
