Job Description
Direct hire opportunity with our manufacturing client for a Quality and Safety Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality checks in production departments
- Perform accuracy checks in shipping department
- Conduct internal audits per ISO 9001:2015 and/or IATF 16949:2016
- Initiate and manage Core Tools (PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, etc.)
- Assist in handling product and service related quality issues
- Conduct monthly safety walks
- Other duties as required
Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor Degree highly preferred or equivalent experience
- 1 to 3 years experience in a quality and safety role in a warehouse environment
- ISO or IATF certified a plus
- At least 1 years of experience working with ISO 9001:2015 and/or IATF 16949:2016 preferred
- Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft applications including Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills a must
