Job Description

Opening with our Engineering client for an Automation Controls Programmer. Work hybrid schedule out of Clarks Summit, PA area with travel to client sites around the area.

Essential Functions

  • Program and integrate complex control systems
  • Conduct hands-on troubleshooting of field control systems
  • Provide technical support in resolving equipment and process issues
  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced Programmers. 
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Engineering or a related technology
  • 7+ years of experience in programming of PLC control and PC based SCADA systems
  • Proficiency in any of the following would be a plus:
    • Allen Bradley hardware and software, Schneider: Unity Pro, Vijeo Designer, ProWorx32, Telepace Studio, GeoSCADA
    • Wonderware with InTouch, System Platform, Historian, Aveva Edge, and GE hardware and software

Mark began working at Oxford Solutions in 2012 as an IT Recruiter, before moving into a leadership role managing a team of technical recruiters. In his current role as Business Development Manager for our Philadelphia branch, he partners with IT clients within small businesses to Fortune 500 corporations to identify niche talent. Mark spends most of his free time with his two daughters or watching Penn State sports. He is also an avid Green Bay Packers Fan.
