WORK ONSITE IN GAITHERSBURG, MD.
THIS IS A SENIOR DATA SCIENCE ENGINEER ROLE. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH 10 YEARS OF OVERALL TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE AND AT LEAST 5 YEARS OF DATA SCIENCE EXPERIENCE.

- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of data science solutions, including data collection, preprocessing, feature engineering, modeling, and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with data scientists to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data engineering tasks.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines for efficient data processing, transformation, and storage, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the pipeline.
- Implement machine learning algorithms and models for various use cases, such as predictive analytics, classification, clustering, recommendation systems, and more.
- Leverage cloud-based technologies and platforms to scale data processing and model deployment, considering factors like performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in data engineering, data science, and machine learning, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Solid oral and written communication skills, especially around analytical concepts and methods
- Strong proficiency in programming languages for data analysis such as Python, R, or Tableau
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS or Google
- Knowledge of relational databases such as My SQL and BigQuery.
