Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description
Direct hire opportunity with our client located in the Lewes, DE area for a Senior Mechanical Engineer.
Essential Duties
- Design various HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm, and fire protection systems.
- Construction administration and field investigation tasks for projects
- Perform field inspections
- Develop system narratives, complete load calculations, equipment selection, and other related design tasks.
- Attend meetings and provide input and updates.
- Analyze data to write up reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- PE required
- 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience
- Experience in the engineering and design of mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection) systems
- AutoCAD and Carrier HAP load calculation software experience
- Ability to make decisions in high-stress situations.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
