Job Description
Our client located in the Monroeville area is looking for a Service Desk Technician. This is a contract to hire opportunity.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Assist in providing Level I technical support and troubleshooting for PCs, Microsoft Office applications, and printers
- Monitor client infrastructure for alarms and security issues
- Escalate problems to next level as needed
- Record, track and document the service desk request problem-solving process
- Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
- Documentation of all work done for clients.
- Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
- Install anti-virus software and ensure virus definitions are up-to-date.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including check and cleaning servers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in technical or help desk support role
- Experience troubleshooting, analyzing, and problem-solving technical issues
- Experience working in an ITIL-driven environment, and working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes
- Experience troubleshooting PCs, Microsoft Office, and printers
