Job Description
Onsite in Jackson, MS. Opening with our manufacturing client for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk.
2nd Shift: 12 pm - 8 pm
Essential Functions
Requirements
All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship
2nd Shift - Shipping and Receiving Clerk - 26221
2nd Shift: 12 pm - 8 pm
Essential Functions
- Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment.
- Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
- Determine method of shipment.
- Stamp, stencil, or glue identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers.
- Post weights and shipping charges, and affix postage.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 1 to 3 years of experience in similar shipping and receiving role
- Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.
- Basic math skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
