Job Description
Direct hire opportunity with our client for someone to function in an Operational Excellence Lead role. In this manufacturing processes operations management role, you will drive Operational Excellence projects and results (KPI) within the local site to improve efficiency within production and other areas through continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work in collaboration with site leadership to identify and improve those areas most important to the site
- Lead the Operational Excellence process at site and support the training of other Operational Excellence Leaders and SME`s (Subject Matter Experts)
- Assist in achieving site goals and strategic plan objectives and participate in monthly KPI reviews
- Promote and facilitate the establishment of NBS tools and conduct on-site kaizens applying them
- Promote and facilitate diagnosis of the flow of work and information to identify improvement priorities, waste and Operational Excellence cost saving projects
- Lead and facilitate Kaizen process and develop other on-site associates in the area of NPS tools and methods
- Evaluate and sign-off other Operational Excellence Leaders or associates for Subject Matter Experts
- Bachelors degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering; Masters degree in Operations Management preferred.
- Deep knowledge of Lean principles
- 2+ years of experience leading manufacturing or business organizations in the deployment of Operational Excellence
- Experience in successful deployment of Lean and Six Sigma, including Kaizen Facilitation
- Experience with medium, high volume series production of components with high variety, as well as manual and full automatic assembly processes.
- Analytical/critical thinking, information analysis, problem resolution skills
- Ability to influence and build relationships, motivating and inspiring others through highly effective communication and exemplary presentation skills
- Ability to achieve business results through direct and indirect interaction, delivering business results under pressure, a champion of performance improvement with a strong customer focus
