Job Description
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding market presence and building strong customer relationships. You will leverage your sales expertise to promote protective chemical coating solution and drive business growth. This is a remote position, and the successful candidate can work from either the Houston or Dallas, TX area to cover customers in those regions. Travel within the assigned territory may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets within the Houston and Dallas territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively identifying and prospecting for new business opportunities.
- Develop a deep understanding of protective chemical coating products and their applications to effectively communicate value to customers.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers, assisting them in selecting the most appropriate coating solutions for their needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- 1 to 3 years of territory sales experience, preferably in a technical or industrial field.
- Experience in the protective chemical coating industry is a significant plus.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and convey technical information effectively.
