Currently have a direct hire opportunity with our client for an Application Software Engineer. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of applications development experience along with 3 or more years of C# development experience. Must be local to Pittsburgh, PA in order to work onsite.

In this Senior Application Developer role, you will be responsible for developing cutting edge mobile and desktop applications in a complex, cross platform environment. 

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
• Contribute architectural/API improvements.
• Implement clear and well-documented APIs for use in higher level code.
• Test and deploy applications and systems
• Revise, update, refactor and debug code
• Improve existing software
• Develop user experiences with clear and easy to understand paradigms that are applicable to the target user group.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related area or equivalent level of experience
• 5+ years applications development experience
• 3+ years C# experience
• Full-stack development experience.
• Ability to work independently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as Objective-C, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Willingness to adopt coding standards of existing APIs.
